This five day course will concentrate on the core of what all audio

is based from. Signal flow. Simply put, how does audio go from the

microphone to the recording interface? We will break down each step of

the process and look into the hardware/power/cables and components used.  Instruction will be given in the studio with hands on lab instruction.

Topics covered during the workshop: the microphone and basic power theory,

the console and basic gate/compression theory, and the recording interface and basic mixing theory.

Supplies needed for students:

Paper and pen for notes. I will be giving out a lot of handouts.
